Rajni Thakur

Rajni Thakur is an accomplished economic professional currently serving as Chief Economist at L&T Finance since May 2024. Prior to this role, Rajni held positions including Executive Director of Scenario Design at UBS and Chief Economist at RBL Bank. Previous experience encompasses a tenure as Macro Strategist at Deutsche Bank and Economic Consultant roles at Everstone Group and Avishkar. Rajni began a career in economic research as a Research Economist at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry and has also worked as a Senior Economist at Dun & Bradstreet, an Assistant Manager in Deutsche Bank's Economic Research team, and as a Senior Research Analyst at the Institute of Economic Growth. Educational qualifications include a Masters in Finance from London Business School, an M.A. in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics, and a B.A. in Economics from Miranda House, University of Delhi.
