Simon Steele has a diverse work experience. Simon started their career at KPMG, where they worked in the Audit department from 1994 to 1998. Simon then joined Sky in 1998 and held various progressive finance roles until 2009, when they became the Head of Finance - Sky Sports. From 2013 to 2016, Simon worked at Team Sky as the Head of Finance and Business Development. In 2016, they joined LTA as the Finance Director and also became a Member of the Board of Trustees for THE LTA TRUST. In 2018, they joined the Tennis Foundation as a Member of the Board of Trustees.
Simon Steele attended Lancaster Royal Grammar School from 1982 to 1989. Simon then went on to Loughborough University from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree. Simon also holds the certification of Chartered Accountant (ACA) from ICAEW, although specific details such as the obtained month and year are not provided.
