Stephen Bowline is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the field of computer graphics and visual effects. Currently serving as a Senior Staff R&D Engineer at Industrial Light & Magic since 2005, Stephen specializes in deformable simulation, HairCraft, Zeno, StageCraft, USD, VFX, and core technologies. Previously, from 1999 to 2005, Stephen held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Walt Disney Feature Animation, where contributions included XGen, Maya, 2D/3D animation, Shake, and ClearCase. Before that, from June 1992 to March 1999, Stephen worked at CSC as a Member of Technical Staff, focusing on real-time telemetry processing, real-time graphics for visualization, Unix system administration, and intranet technologies. Stephen holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Dayton, earned between 1985 and 1989.
