Luceda Photonics
Pierre Wahl is the founder of Luceda Photonics, a position held since June 2014. Prior to this, Pierre Wahl served as a PhD researcher at Vrije Universiteit Brussel from November 2010 to March 2014, focusing on on-chip optical interconnects, advanced scattering models for plasmonic devices, and mode-splitter design. As a visiting researcher at the Miller Group - Stanford University from October 2009 to September 2011, Pierre Wahl worked on integrated nanoscaled photodetectors, numerical electromagnetic simulations, and advanced optimization algorithms. Pierre Wahl obtained a Master's degree in Photonics from Vrije Universiteit Brussel (2004-2009) and participated in the Erasmus Mundus program in Photonics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology (2007-2009). Additionally, studies were conducted at Stanford University.
