Brett Fox has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Brett is currently working as a Software Engineer at Lucerna Health since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Freelance Software Engineer, where they helped a local non-profit organization improve their data entry and storage system. Brett also provided website development and maintenance services to small businesses. From 2014 to 2021, Brett worked at the University of Notre Dame, starting as an intern and then progressing to the roles of Associate Research Programmer and Research Programmer. In these roles, they developed RESTful APIs and web portals to facilitate the sharing and preservation of research data, managed data for multiple projects, and implemented Python ETL scripts for data ingestion. Brett gained proficiency in technologies such as Django, Postgres, React, and Redux-Saga during their time at Notre Dame.
