Eric Bach is the Senior Vice President of Product and Chief Engineer at Lucid. He is responsible for all hardware engineering and is integral to product management and corporate planning for Lucid.
In 18 years of leadership, Eric has guided numerous vehicles to market for both Volkswagen AG and Tesla Motors. His unique experience blends deep expertise from high-volume original equipment manufacturers with agile execution of technology-forward industry challengers.
At Tesla, Eric oversaw several engineering functions for the Tesla Model S, Model X, and Model 3 programs. Under his leadership, his teams successfully enabled the Model S and Model X programs to deliver pioneering engineering and technology solutions under vastly accelerated timelines when compared to the industry at large.
Eric received his Diplom-Ingenieur degree at Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen, Germany.
