Utsav Mudgal

Utsav Mudgal currently serves as a Powertrain Systems Analyst at Lucid Motors since September 2021, having previously held roles as a Drive Unit Test & Validation Engineer and Drive Unit Test Intern within the company. Prior to joining Lucid Motors, Utsav worked at The University of Texas at Arlington as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant from January 2020 to September 2021, contributing to unmanned vehicle systems development. Utsav's experience also includes a tenure at Tata Motors as a Senior Manager in Cost Engineering, where collaboration with McKinsey & Co. resulted in the development of cost analysis tools. Earlier roles include serving as Technical Director at Team Fateh, where vehicle subsystem designs were validated, and positions as an Engine Technician involved in engine design and testing. Utsav holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology.
