Matthew Madden

Matthew Madden is a Senior Software Engineer at Lucid Software Inc., where responsibilities include optimizing application performance and developing front-end features using Typescript and Angular, as well as rewriting legacy code and creating back-end import tools in Scala. Prior to this role, Matthew owned and operated TranslateKhmer.com, providing Khmer to English translation and interpretation services across various sectors and earning court-certification in California. Matthew also served as a Khmer Interpreter for the International Committee of the Red Cross, facilitating interactions between ICRC delegates and Cambodian officials, while translating confidential reports and promotional materials. Additionally, Matthew worked as a Linguist and Translation Support Technician for the Translation Division at CPB, specializing in project preparation and creating translation resources. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Linguistics, both from the University of Utah.
