Jon Barker

Jon Barker is an experienced manufacturing and design engineer with a strong background in various engineering roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as Manufacturing Systems Manager at Lucy Electric since April 2018, Jon previously held positions at Jaguar Land Rover as Principle eMachines Manufacturing Engineer and at YASA Motors as Manufacturing Design Engineer. Earlier experience includes roles at TRW, Cosworth Technology, European Engine Alliance, Rolls Laval Heat Exchangers, Volvo Aero Turbines, and Professional Engineering Support Services, showcasing expertise in electric motor design, manufacturing techniques, and project management. Jon holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) Hons. in Manufacturing Engineering and Management from Loughborough University of Technology, earned from 1991 to 1994.
