Manfred Klemke has a substantial amount of work experience in the aviation industry. MANFRED began their career in 1983 at Lufthansa, where they held several positions within the Lufthansa Group until 1993. From 1993 to 1996, they served as the Director Network Controlling at Lufthansa Passage. In 1994, they became the Programm Director J1 at Lufthansa. In 1997, they joined Lufthansa Cargo AG as the Head of Corporate Controlling until 2004. During their time there, they were responsible for global payments and generating financial data for the company. MANFRED also served as a member of the Supervisory Board of Shanghai Pudong International Airport Cargo Terminal (PACTL) and the Compliance Management Committee.
Manfred Klemke attended the University of Duisburg-Essen from 1979 to 1983, where they earned a Diplom Kaufmann degree in Marketing, Controlling, and Financial economics. In 1998, they completed the General Management Program, Service Leadership at Cranfield University. In 2016, they participated in the Leadership Transformation Program at IMD.
