Josh Shavers has a strong background in software engineering and site reliability engineering management. Josh started their career at Nationwide in 2007, where they held roles as an API Middleware Technical Lead, API Developer, and Systems Engineer. In 2015, they became an Engineering Manager at Nationwide and later transitioned to become a Software Engineering Manager in 2017. In 2019, they joined JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Site Reliability Engineering Manager, where they worked until 2021. Josh then moved to Shutterfly, Inc. as a Site Reliability Engineering Manager before joining Luma Financial Technologies in 2022 as a Software Engineering Manager.
Josh Shavers has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Capital University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration from Franklin University. Josh also holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management from Columbus State Community College. Additionally, they have the certification of Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer from Oracle, and they are an AWS Certified Solution Architect.
