Jingfei Xie

Jingfei Xie currently serves as a Senior 3rd line support engineer and previously held the position of Field Services Engineer - II at LUMICKS since November 2019. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining high-resolution optics instruments for single-molecule biological research, as well as providing support for customers in troubleshooting and diagnosing application and hardware issues. Earlier roles at LUMICKS encompassed technical support and collaboration with the sales team as an Application Scientist. Jingfei Xie also contributed as an Associate Researcher at the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry for a brief period in 2019. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder (2023-2025), a PhD in Biophysics from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (2012-2019), and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Southern Medical University (2008-2012).
