Myles mc Garrigle

Myles Mc Garrigle, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Staff R&D Engineer at Stryker since February 2022, following a tenure as Senior Research and Development Engineer at LUMICKS since June 2019. Myles possesses extensive experience in concept development, 3D modeling, prototype creation, root cause analysis, and experimental design, as well as leading automation projects and stakeholder engagement. Prior roles include Postdoctoral Researcher in Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical PhD Research Student at the National University of Ireland, Galway, focusing on osteoblast-osteocyte differentiation in tissue-engineered scaffolds. Myles also has engineering experience with BioInnovate Ireland and Boston Scientific, where contributions included energy-saving projects and plant operations. Academic qualifications include a Level 8 degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Galway and a Leaving Cert from Colaiste Cholmcille.
