Roel Stortelder

Roel Stortelder is a skilled professional with extensive experience in engineering and hardware journalism. Currently serving as Field Service Engineer II at LUMICKS since July 2020, Roel previously held the role of Field Service Engineer and has been freelancing as a hardware journalist for Reshift since December 2014, focusing on computer and gaming hardware. Roel's engineering background includes an internship at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, where a MEMS device for optogenetic research was designed. Additionally, Roel acted as a teaching assistant in Electrical Engineering at Delft University of Technology, supporting both bachelor and master students. An educational background includes two Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, all earned at Delft University of Technology between 2011 and 2019.
