Willem Sillevis Smitt

Willem Sillevis Smitt has extensive work experience in various marketing and management roles within the lighting industry. Willem started their career at Philips Lighting in 1995, where they worked in manufacturing management and engineering until 2000. Willem then joined Philips Lumileds in 2007 as the Director of Strategic Marketing until 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they served as the Director of Product Marketing at Soraa. Following that, they held the position of VP Marketing at Xicato from 2015 to 2017. Currently, they are employed at Lumileds as the Senior Director of Strategic Marketing.

Willem Sillevis Smitt completed their MS degree in Mechanical Engineering at Delft University of Technology, from 1987 to 1994.
