Daniel J. Brown

Daniel J. Brown is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the fields of simulation and software development. Currently a Senior Software Engineer at Luminar Technologies since August 2020, Daniel operates as both Product Owner and Scrum Master, leading a cross-functional team in the development of tools for LiDAR sensor models. Prior experience includes roles at VT MAK, Quantum3D, Inc., Kratos Defense and Security Solutions, Bohemia Interactive Simulations, and research positions at UCF ACTIVE Lab and UCF RETRO Lab. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Modeling and Simulation and a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media from the University of Central Florida.
