Smit Shah

Smit Shah is a Senior Data Engineer at Luminate Data since December 2021, focusing on building a data platform on AWS. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Foot Locker from October 2018 to November 2021, where Smit architected a scalable data platform that managed over 350 DAGs and supported various analytics and machine learning models using Azure, Spark, Airflow, Power BI, and Kubernetes. Earlier roles at Pro-Tek Consulting involved creating data pipelines for Samsung Electronics America, while positions at ConsultAdd Inc and as a Graduate Assistant at the New York Institute of Technology laid foundational experience in data engineering and teaching. Smit holds a Master's degree in Data Science from Saint Peter's University and a Master's degree in Computer Science from New York Institute of Technology, supplemented by a Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Communications Engineering from LDRP ITR.
