Eric Hutchens has over 20 years of experience in the structural engineering field. Eric is currently serving as the Director of the Structural Engineering Division at Lumos & Associates since July 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Structural Lead at ID Studio 4, LLC from May 2018 to June 2019. From May 2017 to May 2018, Eric was a Senior Project Manager at Frost Structural Engineering. Eric also worked at Parsons Corporation as a Principal Supervising Engineer - Structural from November 2013 to May 2017, where they supervised the Technical Support Services Team for the Royal Commission. Eric's earlier roles include Senior Structural Project Engineer at Wallace Engineering from January 2010 to November 2013 and Vice President at MGA Structural Engineers, Inc. from 1995 to 2008.
Eric Hutchens attended the University of Nevada, Reno from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Following this, they pursued further education at the same university and earned a master's degree in Structural Engineering from 1992 to 1994.
