Chuck Smith

Chuck Smith is an experienced marketing professional with a strong background in communications and branding. Currently serving as Marketing Manager at LUNA Innovations since May 2022, Chuck previously held similar roles at OptaSense, The Lubrizol Corporation, and Baker Hughes, where responsibilities included managing marketing communications, product marketing, and digital marketing strategies. Significant achievements include developing strategic marketing plans that generated over $260 million in new product revenue and implementing customer-centric value propositions. Chuck's career also encompasses leadership positions in various organizations, including serving as President/CEO of the North Channel Area Chamber of Commerce and Director of Communications for the Galena Park Independent School District. Chuck holds an M.A. in Communications from the University of Houston and a B.A. in Journalism from Sam Houston State University.
