Brad Lester

Brad Lester, CPA, currently serves as the Controller for US Operations at LUNA Innovations, a position held since August 2021, having previously worked as Director and Assistant Controller within the same organization. Prior experience includes positions as Audit Manager and Senior Audit Associate at Brown Edwards from January 2018 to September 2021, as well as roles at Bennett Thrasher as a Senior Financial Reporting & Assurance Associate and Financial Reporting & Assurance Associate from August 2015 to December 2017. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Senior Accountant and Accountant at Alpha Natural Resources from August 2011 to August 2015. Brad Lester holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Emory & Henry College and an M.B.A. in Finance from King University.
