Rene Botvin is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Startup CFO at Relev8 since 2022, where responsibilities include guiding startups in financial planning and fundraising to enhance their profitability. Concurrently, Rene acts as a Startup Coach for Luxinnovation GIE's Fit4Start program. Previously, as Head Of Finance at Cambri from 2021 to 2022, financial management practices were established, focusing on functional management accounting and performance tracking. Earlier career roles include Strategic Finance & Business Control Manager at EY from 2017 to 2021, where project teams delivered transactions in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sectors, and positions at BPT Real Estate and Porta Finance in financial consulting and M&A analysis. Rene holds a Master’s Degree in International Management from Esade and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics & Business Management from Rīgas Ekonomikas augstskola - Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, alongside completing an exchange semester at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology.
