Javier Aguilar Torán possesses extensive experience as a hardware engineer, currently working at LuxQuanta since October 2024 and previously at Onalabs Inno-Hub from December 2017 to October 2024, focusing on the development of medical wearable devices such as ONAVITAL and ONASPORT. Additional roles include serving as an assistant professor at the University of Barcelona, teaching Applied Electronics and Computer Science in the Biomedical Engineering program, and contributing as an R&D engineer at IMB-CNM, CSIC, where work involved developing electronics for a Legionella detection system. Earlier experience includes a brief role as an electronic engineer at Fuelium and an internship at IMB-CNM, CSIC. Javier is currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Universitat de Barcelona, bolstered by a Master’s degree in the same field and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications from the same institution.
