Pol Adillon is currently a PhD student at ICFO since April 2023, engaged in a program focused on enhancing continuous variable quantum key distribution (QKD) systems in collaboration with LuxQuanta Technologies. Previously, Pol served as a Research Engineer at LuxQuanta from February 2022, where responsibilities included developing a simulation tool for optimizing quantum communication and parameter estimation within the company's quantum key distribution system, specifically utilizing the GG02 protocol. Pol holds a Master's degree in Quantum Science and Technologies from the Universitat de Barcelona, completed in September 2022, and a bachelor's degree in Physics from the same university, obtained in 2021.
