Carlos Palomanes, CFA, CIIA has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the finance industry. Carlos began their career as a Consultant at KPMG in 2000, where they worked until 2003. Carlos then joined Mercer Investment Consulting as a Consultant from 2003 to 2004. In 2004, Carlos joined Luzerner Kantonalbank as a Relationship Manager for Institutional Clients, a role they held until 2011. Carlos briefly worked as a Relationship Manager at J.P. Morgan (Suisse) SA in 2011. Carlos then returned to Luzerner Kantonalbank as Head of Products & Services Asset Management from 2012 to 2016, and subsequently served as Head of Asset Management Advisory from 2016 to 2018. From 2018 onwards, Carlos held the role of President of the Board of Trustees at Pensionskasse der Luzerner Kantonalbank. In 2022, they joined Renaissance Foundation & Management as a member of the Board of Trustees. Recently, Carlos has taken on the role of Head of Führungsport Finanzen und Investment at Luzerner Kantonalbank AG.
Carlos Palomanes, CFA, CIIA obtained their lic.oec.publ. degree in Banking from the University of Zurich, completing their education from 1997 to 2002. Following this, they pursued further studies in Finance, obtaining the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from 2004 to 2007. Additionally, they completed a program in Finance at AZEK, earning the Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA) designation from 2004 to 2006.
