Michael David is the current Chief Omnichannel Officer at LVMH. Michael has been in this position since January 2021.
Prior to their current role, David served as the Global Head of Digital Retail and Client Development for Louis Vuitton from September 2011 to January 2021. In this role, they were responsible for leading e-Commerce, Client Services, Client Development (CRM, clienteling), and Omnichannel projects.
Before joining Louis Vuitton, David was the VP Client Services at Passenger from July 2010 to July 2011. At Passenger, they created and managed B-to-C, B-to-B, and B-to-E private online communities for Fortune 500 clients such as GE, Hershey, Pepsi/Mountain Dew, Adidas, VH1, etc. which led to brand advocacy, product innovation, consumer insights, and improved collaboration.
From January 2005 to July 2010, David served as the VP Client Services and General Manager at Nurun. At Nurun, they provided online/integrated marketing consulting services for Evian, L'Oreal, Snuggle and Wisk (Sun Products), Lancaster (Coty), Mohegan Sun, Benefit Cosmetics (LVMH), Gore Fabrics global, Loews Hotels, Osmoz (Firmenich), Nutricia (Danone), Temptu.
Prior to Nurun, David was the Interactive Marketing Manager at L'Oreal USA from January 2002 to December 2004. Before that, they served as the Sr Account Director at BBDO New York / Atmosphere from January 1999 to December 2002.
Michael David achieved a managerial excellence program from INSEAD/Cedep. Michael pursued an MBA in marketing from Baruch College. Michael has a BA in international business from Universite de Nantes in France.
Michael David reports to Bernard Arnault, Chairman and CEO. Michael David works with Gabriele Maggio - CEO, Stella McCartney, Anne de Vergeron - CEO, Repossi, and Pietro Beccari - Chairman & CEO, Christian Dior Couture & Executive Committee Member.
