Stephan Buys is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the mineral processing industry. Currently serving as Group Manager Process at Lycopodium since April 2006, Stephan oversees all process deliverables for studies and projects at the Perth office. Key projects include the role of Principal Process Engineer for the Sabodala Massawa Sulphide Treatment Project in Senegal during 2022-2023, and Lead Process Engineer for the Kabanga Nickel Project in Tanzania in 2010. Earlier positions include Senior Process Engineer for the Wolfram Camp Project in Australia in 2008, Technical Manager at Anglo Platinum from 2005 to 2006, Plant Superintendent at Anglo Platinum Research from 2000 to 2005, and Metallurgist/Senior Metallurgist at Anglo Platinum from 1992 to 2000. Stephan holds a degree from the University of Johannesburg, earned between 1988 and 1992.
