Leslie Yang is an experienced design leader with a strong background in user-centered design across various industries. Currently serving as the Head of Design for Core Systems and Platform at Lyft since August 2021, Leslie guides teams in creating effective user experiences in mapping, payments, identity, and customer care. Prior to Lyft, Leslie held the position of Director of Product Design at OpenTable, focusing on B2B restaurant product design, while also coaching emerging design leaders. Previous roles include Senior Product Designer at Pivotal Labs, where Leslie collaborated with product development teams, and Lead Visual Designer at PolicyLink, managing interactive graphic design. Leslie is also the founder of an eco-friendly jewelry and home décor line, feistyelle. Educational background includes a B.A. in Sociology with Honors from the University of California, Berkeley, along with additional training from General Assembly.
