Jimmy Schop Msc Ra

Jimmy Schop, MSc RA, has extensive experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as Director of Business Finance for LyondellBasell since April 2013. In this role, Jimmy leads the business controlling department for the Olefins & Polyolefins segments in Europe, Asia, and International, overseeing a team of approximately 27 (in)direct reports. Responsibilities include financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and strategic business decision support, as well as involvement in the yearly budget process and statutory compliance across various legal entities. Prior to this, Jimmy held multiple financial leadership positions within LyondellBasell, focusing on operational accounting and accounting policy. Jimmy began a career at PwC Nederland in 2001, achieving the position of Manager, specializing in auditing for public interest entities and high-end private companies. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Accountancy from Nyenrode Business University.
