Michael Boaz

Michael Boaz is an experienced professional in procurement and engineering with a robust background in the chemical industry. Currently serving as North America Procurement Manager and Global Lead Category Manager at LyondellBasell since August 2020, Michael oversees a global team managing over $250 million annually in technical materials. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at Dixie Chemical Co., including Director of Engineering, where responsibilities encompassed maintenance budget management and strategic planning for engineering and capital projects. Experience also includes serving as a Senior Project Engineer at AkzoNobel and Reliability Engineer at Air Liquide, where project management and mechanical integrity were key focuses. Michael began the career at Sunoco Lubricants, supervising mechanical integrity programs. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston.
