Rick Miller

Rick Miller currently serves as the Senior Director of Net Zero Transition for the US Region at LyondellBasell, where responsibility includes leading the strategy and execution of the transition to Net Zero Scope 1 & 2 emissions by 2050. With over three decades of experience in the chemicals industry, Rick has held various leadership roles within LyondellBasell and its predecessor, Lyondell Chemical, managing significant operations, procurement, and optimization teams. Notably, Rick has managed a $700 million annual spend in utilities and industrial gases, established global Management Systems for manufacturing, and successfully expanded Management Systems beyond manufacturing domains. Rick began a career in the industry at Occidental Chemical Company, where foundational experience was gained in production engineering and operations management. Educationally, Rick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University.
