Karel Vanheusden is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in materials engineering and product development. Currently serving as Vice President of Product Development at Lyten, Karel has held significant roles including Sr. Staff Materials Engineer at Tesla and Director of Nanomaterials Technology at Heliotrope Technologies, Inc. Furthermore, Karel co-founded Ensor as Chief Technology Officer and worked as Technology and Business Manager at E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company. Karel holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from KU Leuven, obtained between 1990 and 1994, and received further training at Sandia National Laboratories from 1995 to 1997.
