Santanu Sarkar is an experienced leader in process development and integration, currently serving as Senior Manager - Process & Integration at Lyten since 2023, where responsibilities include leading a team in electrode mixing, coating, and calendering processes for both pouch and cylindrical cells. Previously, at QuantumScape from 2021 to 2023, Santanu managed a team focused on the manufacturing and commercialization of solid-state batteries, emphasizing employee development. Santanu's tenure at Micron Technology from 2015 to 2021 involved evaluations and cross-functional collaborations in thin films process technology development. Earlier roles include contributions at Intel Corporation from 2013 to 2015 in plasma dry etch technology. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Chemistry with a focus on Materials Science & Nanotechnology from the University of California, Riverside, an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, and an Executive Program in Business Analytics from Wharton Executive Education.
