Supriya Koul is a Senior Battery Scientist at Lyten since November 2022, with prior experience as a Doctoral Student at the University of Central Florida from August 2016 to July 2022, focusing on developing a liquid metal buffer layer to suppress anodic dendrite growth in secondary lithium batteries. Previous roles include Section Manager at John Deere, where responsibilities included ensuring the metallurgical quality of automotive parts and conducting failure analysis, along with working as Engineer I at Shriram Pistons & Rings Ltd. on defect analysis for Jaguar pistons. Supriya Koul also completed a two-month internship at the Defence Research and Development Organisation, gaining experience in various deposition techniques. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Central Florida, a Master’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), and a Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Srinagar.
