Alexa Murphy

Alexa Murphy is an experienced aerospace professional currently serving as a Training Systems Operator Specialist at LZ Technology, Inc. since May 2020. Previously, Murphy worked as an International Space Station Flight Controller Trainee at Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies, where training included technical aspects of ISS systems and crew responses to failures. Murphy's academic background features a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University and ongoing work towards a Master’s degree in the same field. Additional experience includes design work for a Mars mission simulation while serving as a Research Assistant at Texas A&M University and instructional roles that enhanced mathematical understanding among students.
