Jaakko Sundquist

Jaakko Sundquist has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Jaakko started their career as a Trainee at Nokia Telecommunications, where they developed test macros for an automated test system. In their subsequent role at Nokia Smartphones, Jaakko served as a Senior Product Manager and Team Lead, responsible for SW portfolio management and product concepting for Symbian phones. Jaakko also contributed to the implementation of various features, such as business calendar functionalities.

At Nokia Mobile Phones, Jaakko worked as a Senior Manager, focusing on platform release management, strategic product management, and organizational development for a new Linux-based mobile device platform. Jaakko played a key role in defining the platform's capability baseline.

Jaakko then transitioned to Seeking New Position, where they aimed to explore new opportunities in R&D management, portfolio and product management, and ICT and mobile development.

In their next role at Hermia Ltd.; New Factory, Jaakko served as a Team Lead and Project Manager, leading a team that supported startup companies. Jaakko was responsible for productizing the services offered by the startups and facilitating their sales and execution phases.

Currently, Jaakko is working at M-Files Corporation as a Senior Account Executive, handling account management and sales activities for enterprise customers in various regions. Jaakko is responsible for identifying, managing, and closing sales cases for existing M-Files customers and also participates in new business sales as a solution-oriented sales expert.

Jaakko Sundquist received their education from the Tampere University of Technology from 1992 to 1998. Jaakko completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Telecommunications and Software Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Jaakko also obtained a certification as an M-Files Certified User in February 2014 from M-Files Corporation.
