Timo Kivipelto

Timo Kivipelto has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Timo currently works at M-Files Corporation as the Lead Quality Assurance Engineer since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked at M-Files Suomi for six years, starting as a QA Engineer in January 2015 and later becoming a Senior QA Engineer in February 2017. Before M-Files, Timo worked at Tieto as a Senior Test Engineer from April 2012 to December 2014, where they focused on test automation for Java and web applications using QFTest and Robot Framework with Python. Their earlier experience includes roles at Nokia Networks, where they worked in various positions from 1999 to 2012. These roles included Integration & Verification Specialist, Senior Software Design Engineer, Thesis Worker, and Software Design Engineer, where they contributed to the development and testing of Nokia's TETRA network and NMS system.

Timo Kivipelto obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Technology from Tampere University of Technology, where they studied from 1997 to 2002. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications. In November 2006, they received the Foundation Certificate in Software Testing from ISTQB. Then in April 2009, they became a Certified Scrum Master through Reaktor. Finally, in December 2013, they obtained the Certified Tester, Advanced Level, Test Analyst (CTALTA) certification from ISTQB.
