Mike Asem is a seasoned venture capital professional with extensive experience in supporting early-stage, tech-enabled startups in the Midwest as a Founding Partner at M25 since June 2016. Asem also holds leadership roles as a Board Member for multiple organizations, including BLCK VC, Civic Eagle, Elate, ScriptDrop, and PicDiversity, Inc., where Mike focuses on advancing black venture investors, leveraging technology for legislative tracking, and promoting diversity in education. Additionally, Asem contributes to the Kauffman Fellows program and serves as an Advisor for Socio Labs. Prior to current roles, Asem was the Director of Collaborative Relationships at Purdue Research Foundation and gained experience as a Student Fellow at Chicago Ventures. Asem earned a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations & Rhetorical Advocacy from Purdue University.
