Tshepo C. Maeko

Tshepo C. Maeko is a Senior Global Product Development and Agronomic Expert at Maaden since December 2020, where responsibilities include leading fertilizer marketing, product development, and agronomic project evaluation. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President & Head of Agri-Sales for Absa Group, focusing on the development and execution of Agri strategy across several African nations. From 2010 to June 2019, Tshepo held the position of General Manager for New Business Development at Omnia Holdings, achieving significant growth in business development and representing the company in various industry forums. Earlier roles included Sales Manager and Agronomist at Omnia Fertilizer and a Lecturer in Agronomy at Mangosuthu University of Technology. Tshepo holds a Master of Science in Agronomy & Biophysics and has completed business programs at prestigious institutions such as Harvard Business School and GIBS Business School.
