Haitham Wanas has extensive work experience in the field of architecture and design. Haitham started their career in 1998 as a Design Manager at Eng. Mohd Al Shaikh Mubarak Architectural & Engineering Consultants. During their time there, they prepared designs for commercial and residential buildings and coordinated design teams, contractors, and clients.
In 2007, Haitham joined Obayashi Corporation (Dubai Branch) as a Design Manager for the Palm Jumeirah Transit System project. This innovative monorail railway project featured an automatic monorail operation system, and Haitham was responsible for overseeing the construction and subcontracting.
From 2008 to 2009, they served as the Deputy General Manager & Head of Architecture Department at Qasba Engineering Consultancy. Haitham assisted with the planning of the Design department, managed business unit activities, and developed strategic business plans and client relationships.
Haitham then worked at DIAR CONSULT from 2009 to 2010 as a Senior Project Architect, where they reviewed plans, finishes, and building details for the Victory Heights Golf Residential Development project in Dubai Sports City.
In 2010, Haitham joined Engineering Consultants Group S.A. as a Principal Architect and Team Leader. Haitham managed designs and coordinated design activity with other disciplines, ensuring compliance with project objectives and building codes.
Their most recent role is as a Design Director at Maarif Education since 2014. In this position, they set the overall direction of the design program, reviews designs, supervises drawing creation, and monitors design performance.
