Ana Antunes, PhD, is an experienced professional in the field of microbiology and biotherapeutics with extensive involvement in international affairs and scientific communication. Since September 2015, Ana has held multiple leadership roles at MabDesign, a prominent organization supporting the French biotherapeutics industry, including Head of International Affairs and Head of Scientific Events & Communication. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Institut Pasteur focusing on Neisseria meningitidis pathogenesis, visiting scientist tenure at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics employing microarray technologies, and research on vaccine development. Ana earned a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Lisbon, complemented by further education at both the University of Lisbon and Institut Pasteur.
