Ozgur Eralp has extensive experience in the field of engineering and software development. Ozgur is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Macademia, where they lead various technology and product teams. Prior to this, Ozgur worked as an Engineering Programme Manager at Graphcore and as a Software Engineering Lead at The Smart Container Company. Ozgur also served as a Software Delivery Lead at Target Group and as a Sr. Project Manager at Sorenson Media. Earlier in their career, Ozgur worked as a Software Engineer at XAD Communications and as a Technical Lead at Cabot Communications. Ozgur began their professional journey as a Software Engineer at Aselsan. Throughout their career, Ozgur has gained expertise in various areas such as mobile app development, web development, backend engineering, devops, data engineering, user experience and interface design, and project management.
Ozgur Eralp holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Computer) from Middle East Technical University, which they obtained from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Hacettepe University from 1996 to 2001. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the PRINCE2® Practitioner in Project Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in December 2016, and a certification in Project Management from The George Washington University - School of Business in September 2011.
