Buck Betten currently serves as the Managing Director of Asset Allocation, Risk Management, and Alpha Strategies at the MacArthur Foundation, where responsibilities include heading asset allocation and portfolio construction for the Foundation’s investment portfolio and leading the execution of its portable alpha program. Additionally, Buck co-chairs the Finance Committee on the Board of Trustees at Lincoln Park Zoo. Previously, Buck worked as an Options Floor Trader at Susquehanna International Group, gaining extensive experience in pricing and trading S&P 500 index options and serving as a CBOE Designated Primary Market-Maker for various equity options. Buck holds an MBA in Finance, Econometrics and Statistics, and Management from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in Business Economics from Brown University.
