Connor Watson is a skilled mechanical designer currently employed at MacLean Engineering since May 2021, having previously held the position of Product Engineering Design Student at the same company from January 2020 to August 2020. Prior experience includes a role as a Mechanical Engineering Student at Bristol Machine Works Limited from May 2019 to January 2020, and a Project Coordinator Co-op at Aecon Group Inc. during the summer of 2018. Connor holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering with a Mechatronics Specialization from Laurentian University, completed in 2021.

MacLean Engineering designs, manufactures and markets underground mining equipment as well as engineered solutions for the municipal, environmental and industrial goods sectors. Our Mining division builds a comprehensive suite of engineered solutions for full-range support of the mining cycle across all underground mining methods. In FY 2015 we posted over $100M in sales into 23 countries on six continents. We have an employee base of some 500 workers around the globe, including skilled trades, customer service, multi-discipline engineering, sales and marketing, and professional administrative support. MacLean Engineering has been in business for over forty years and remains family-owned. We have been headquartered in Collingwood, Ontario since our founding in 1973. Our manufacturing base is in Collingwood and Owen Sound, Ontario, supported by an International Distribution Centre in Barrie, Ontario and Sales and Support Centres in Sudbury, Ontario; Val d’Or, Quebec; Thompson, Manitoba; Creighton, Saskatchewan; along with International Branches in Mexico, Peru, South Africa and Australia.
