Karen Watson

Karen Watson is an accomplished finance and operations leader with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Finance & Operations Officer at Macmillan Cancer Support since February 2024, Karen oversees finance, strategy, insight & performance, data, risk, legal, ESG, and property. Previously, Karen held the positions of CFO/COO at English National Opera, focusing on finance, property, fundraising, and business operations, and contributed to strategy and content production at Sky as Director of Content Strategy & Production. With a foundational career in finance and consulting, Karen also served in leadership roles at SABMiller, IBM, and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Educational credentials include a BA in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Financial Mathematics from the University of London. Additionally, Karen serves as a board member for Jupiter Entertainment in NYC and True North in Leeds.
