Scot Henry

Scot Henry, PhD, is an experienced Biological Sciences Writer at Macmillan Learning since September 2020. Prior roles include Independent Consultant at Organ Recovery Systems, focusing on molecular dynamics of hypothermic machine preservation in the liver, and Associate Research Scientist at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where molecular therapies for hepatitis C recurrence post-liver transplantation were developed. A similar focus on hepatitis C and ischemic reperfusion injury effects was maintained during tenure at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
