Rob Allan

Rob Allan is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry with a diverse background in production engineering, operations management, and environmental health and safety. Currently serving as Facilities Manager, Environment, Health and Safety Manager, and Principal EHS Engineer at MACOM since October 2020, Rob has previously held significant roles such as Operations Lead at GATE IPO, where responsibilities included leading operations on a high-pressure subsea tie-back, and at Wood, overseeing construction and commissioning of deep-water subsea systems. Additionally, Rob's tenure at SBM Offshore involved managing the operations of a floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) vessel, along with roles at Maersk FPSOS and Aker, focusing on production and control room operations. Rob Allan also contributed to safety initiatives as a Safety Representative with Step Change in Safety and holds advanced degrees in chemistry and information management from Robert Gordon University and Edinburgh Napier University.
