Chris Bampton has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Chris started their career as an Accounts Clerk at UK Waste in 1993 and later worked as a Finance Trainee at CBX from 1995 to 1998. Chris then joined Sulzer Infra CBX as a Management Accountant from 1998 to 2001. Following that, they worked at Bovis Lend Lease (FM Division) as a Financial Reporting Manager from 2001 to 2002. Currently, they hold various positions at Macro (formerly Mace Operate), including Finance Manager/Controller from 2002 to 2007, Group Finance Director from 2007 to 2023, and Chief Financial Officer from 2023 onwards.

Chris Bampton obtained their FCCA (Fellow of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in 2012. Prior to that, they were a member of the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in 2007 and an affiliate from 2004-2007. Chris pursued their education through BPP Distance Learning for ACCA from 1998-2004.
