Niels Bruus

Niels Bruus is a seasoned maritime professional with a career spanning over three decades at A.P. Moller - Maersk, currently serving as Vice President and Head of Global Safety and Resilience. Previously, Niels held various senior roles, including Head of Marine HR and Head of Marine People and Culture, overseeing significant initiatives in technical innovation, fleet performance, and fuel efficiency. Niels has also been involved in stowage coordination and vessel planning across European and Asian regions. Additionally, Niels serves as a member of the Board of Directors at Svendborg International Maritime Academy and is actively engaged in the maritime training sector. Niels' educational background includes a Master Mariner degree from Svendborg Navigations skole and an Officer of the Reserve degree from the Royal Navy.
