Karen Yoshiki-Gravelsins

VP, Corporate Stewardship & Operational Excellence at Magellan Aerospace Corp

Reporting to the President and the CEO, Dr. Yoshiki-Gravelsins leads Magellan’s efforts through the Magellan Operating System (MOS™) to drive industry-leading operational performance and improved customer satisfaction, resource management and profitability. Her responsibilities include corporate environmental stewardship, quality and environmental management, and the effective utilization of continual improvement to achieve and sustain process and productivity gains. Dr. Yoshiki-Gravelsins was appointed Vice President of Corporate Stewardship and Operational Excellence in 2014.

Prior to joining Magellan Aerospace, Mississauga in 1993, Dr. Yoshiki-Gravelsins worked as a consulting engineer and as a researcher at private organizations and at Kyoto University, Japan. In addition she serves on several advisory committees in the aerospace sector, including environmental mentorship through the Ontario Aerospace Council.

Dr. Yoshiki-Gravelsins holds a Ph.D. degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Toronto and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
