Jeff Grills is an experienced software engineer and technology leader with a robust background in game development and software architecture. Currently serving as the CV Engine & SW Architecture Lead and Principal Software Engineer at Magic Leap since October 2016, Grills develops high-performance heterogeneous multi-core data pipelined engines for sensor data processing. Prior to this role, Grills held leadership positions at MaxPlay, where responsibilities included managing the development of the second-generation Game Development Suite and designing key components of the first generation. Other notable experiences include positions at Technicolor, Panic Button, Disney Interactive, Sony Online Entertainment, and Electronic Arts, with a focus on advanced engine development and technical direction across multiple platforms. Grills is continuing education at The University of Texas at Austin.
